Sahit Muja: The butcher of Syrian people, the mass-murderer Bashar al-Assad’s mafia regime now is killing pregnant woman and unborn children.
About 124 people killed in Syria within 24 hours. Syrian troops bombarded several areas in Deir Ezzor, Hama and Homs, killing at least nine people on Sunday, a watchdog said.
AFP correspondent reported shelling near Aleppo. On Saturday at least 115 people were killed across Syria.
Four civilians were killed in the Deir Ezzor neighbourhood of Hamidiyeh as troops shelled parts of the eastern oil city.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
In the central province of Homs, regime forces again bombed the rebel stronghold of Rastan as they attempted to gain control of the town which has been under the control of rebels since February.
Several areas of Homs city also were bombed, killing two civilians, the watchdog said.
In the central province of Hama, two civilians were killed and others wounded in bombing of Al-Qalet Madiq. In the same region, the military also stormed the villages of Jreires and Maarzaf, using heavy weapons.
On Saturday a pregnant woman was among 115 killed across Syria, activists reported.
In the southern province of Deraa, activists said that troops and militias had stormed and torched the southern town of Khirbet GhazalehToday I can say without any doubt that those cut-throat mass-murderer killers of Assad called “Shabieh”, will all soon be put on trial for Crimes Against Humanity.
The criminal mass-murderer Bashar al-Assad and his illegitimate mafia regime of gangsters will soon join that of Ben Ali, Qaddafi, Saddam Husein, Osama Bin Laden and Hosni Mubarak.
Syrians are struggling against Assad’s mass-murderer military to continue their revolution. "The Arab Spring".
The UN, West and Muslim world waits and watches. Why are the Syrian peoples’ lives and struggles not as important as those in Libya, Tunisia, and Egypt?
When will the Muslims stop repeating its mistake of supporting some, yet standing by and watching why others fall at the hands of murderers?
When will we finally reflect on past events and remark that we prevented another disaster. It seems history teaches us nothing, and never will. What sadness for the hopes of the Syrian people. They’re risking their lives for the change they believe in.
The sight of Mubarak in a cage is a great news for struggles of Syrian's for real democracy.
I call on all People in the world to support the courageous demonstrators in Syria who risk everything they have for freedom and a better life for their families.
I call upon our government, the United Nations, and free countries and peoples throughout the world to STOP the mass-murderer Assad .
Sahit Muja: UN found pools of blood in homes in Syria confirming vicious massacres.
UN observers investigating Syria's reported mass killing and vicious massacres have said they found signs of a heavy assault that targeted specific homes of regime opponents.
The observers' statement was the first outsiders' look in the village of Tremseh, where activists say 220 peaple were killed by government troops.
The US team said that it found pools of blood and blood splatters in several homes in Tremseh, along with bullet casings. It said the attack "appeared targeted at specific groups and houses, mainly of army defectors and activists".
The UN confirmed an attack took place using artillery, mortars and small arms. The UN said that observers stationed nearby witnessed government tanks and helicopters attacking Tremseh.
Reports said hundreds buried in neighboring villages or burned beyond recognition. Syrian activists said hundreds of residents remain unaccounted for, and locals believe bodies remained in nearby fields or were thrown into the Orontes River.
The Tremseh violence appeared to be one of the bloodiest events in the now 16-month uprising against President Bashar Assad, in which activists say more than 17,000 people have been killed.
In Syria, the brutal regime of Bashar Assad is testing the proposition that repression works. The massacre of civilians in Houla is only the latest example of what appears to be a strategy of making no concessions and using maximum force.
So far, Assad's strategy has worked. Kofi Annan's mission, which appears to be based on the idea that Assad will negotiate his own departure, seems utterly doomed. The U.S., the Western world, indeed the civilized world, need to overthrow Assad regime by using military action.

The UN offices are still open in Damascus, including FAO. The UN peacekeeping force is still in Damascus, though stationed in a hotel and on standby. Why do we not hear more commentary from these working observers, who are on the scene? Perhaps they could give insight and a helpful perspective. Ecofriendly
What a big mess in Syria. The bad news is that I am not sure anyone has any effective solution to it. It has nothing about NATO pre-occupied in Afghanistan or Russian opposition; a solution simply does not exist.
If there is SNAFU, Syria is in SNARFU (R for really).
The alternatives at this point appear to be:
1) Russia stops supplying Assad, and the bloodshed winds down as Assad runs out of munitions.
2) Russia insists on continuing to supply Assad, and the bloodshed lasts much longer.
It is true that neither is a "solution." But that doesn't mean that there is not a significant difference between the two scenarios.
I am still waiting for the Western press to get indignant about the 1000 Ivoriens murdered last year by Sarkozy and his Ivorien allies or about the black African still been murdered in Libya.
Only after that will I believe anything written in the prress. It is all smoking mirrors for now

Not even Syria is fooling the UN anymore.
How much longer will countries and wannabe superpowers such as Russia and China sit on their hands while babies are murdered in Houla?
Relax, Kofi. There is nothing more that you can do. BTW Have a cuppa of Arabica, courtesy of the Wahhabi bros.

So you refuse to believe one story because another has not been so widely reported?
Well, that sure makes a lot of sense.
Personal attacks and propaganda against people the economist do not like. How politically neutral.
