Technical requirements
The Economist online has been optimised for a screen size of 1024 x 768 pixels, without any additional browser toolbars.
The HTML has been designed and tested for the following web-browsers: Internet Explorer IE 7+ and Firefox 2+ using Windows 2000 and later, and Safari 2.0+ and Firefox 2.0+ on a Mac using OS X 10.4+. For optimal performance, we recommend that users have at least 1GB of RAM, along with Flash 8.0+ and active JavaScript.
RSS and Chrome
By default, Chrome does not render the programming language XML. If you’re using Chrome and would like to subscribe to our RSS feeds, you’ll first need to download the RSS Subscription Extension into Chrome.
